National Science Carnival #4

Final day, I must admit I didn't feel like leaving already. ):
But still, I got up, saw the first ray of daylight, picked up my camera and went out to the balcony, took a few shots of dawn. Like hell there's seldom chance to see this in Penang.
Still dark, yet beautiful.

So eventually everyone got up, started packing as we had to leave the hotel before erm, like, 8am or so, we practically got up at over 7am so breakfast's a no-go already. Checked every corner for possible leftovers, cleared drawers and etc, then went down to the main hall just to see everyone waiting for us already. There's one thing in common for all Chung Ling kias, the inexorable liking to be late for almost everything!

I just stuffed two pieces of bread and scrammed everything then got onto the bus to the main competition site, Institut Perguruan Malaysia. Closing ceremony and prize giving was expected in 2 hours.

>>Fast Forward>>

So here we are, the main hall and the beautifully decorated stage.

The attendance of the Raja Muda and his wife was expected in this closing ceremony and act as one of the prize givers. LOL.

>> Fast Forward>>

Here're a few photos I took from my seat, was seriously too far away.

Raja muda or simply Sultan was second from left, to his left hand side was his wife, duh.

Closing ceremony, third picture was taken while I was on stage.

Well, there you have it. Penang got second placing for Young Scientists, Perak got first. Eureka Ree lead by SJKC Hu Yew Seah got first placing, Chung Ling Solar Boat in 3rd placing, Al-Mashoor's Solar Cooking in 3rd placing. My prize was personally awarded by the queen! Hahaha bet you bunch of people wouldn't even have the chance! =x

And then, as usual, photo session. -.-
Stood until I almost turned into a rock! Walao eh. D:

Negeri Sembilan got overall champion.

Okay so after everything ended, we went Padang Besar! But actually there's nothing much there either. =x

Ah, finally I saw something related to Penang! Sense of belonging! =x
And jesus, we went to this kopitiam, oh em gee it's some kind of, 1990+ style! Hahaha.

Coconuts. xD
We left Padang Besar at around, 2pm. Headed straight back to Penang.

So long, Perlis. =)
