Fancy a latte?

Or... let's go Coffeebean?

Okay I know what you're looking at, the woman behind is Megan Fox. (:
Well whatever it is, I know there're tons of coffee lovers out there but never attempt coffee before you have your writing exams. This is based on my personal experience, take my advice or you'll regret later. But why?

Caffeine, yes.

Caffeine is a bitter, white crystalline xanthine alkaloid that is a psychoactive stimulant drug. A psychoactive drug, psychopharmaceutical or psychotropic substance is a chemical substance that acts primarily upon the central nervous system where it alters brain function, resulting in changes in perception, mood, consciousness and behavior. It takes less than an hour for caffeine to begin affecting the body and a mild dose wears off in three to four hours.

An acute overdose of caffeine, usually in excess of about 300 milligrams, dependent on body weight and level of caffeine tolerance, can result in a state of central nervous system over-stimulation called caffeine intoxication. The effects are pretty much of those brain-nerve related systems as follows;

An array of studies found that caffeine could have nootropic effects, inducing certain changes in memory and learning. Nootropics, also referred to as smart drugs, memory enhancers, and cognitive enhancers, are drugs, supplements, nutraceuticals, and functional foods that are purported to improve mental functions such as cognition, memory, intelligence, motivation, attention, and concentration.

Waking up feeling like your head's falling off but realizing you have majors on that day?
You first instinct would be grabbing the nearest available coffee, be it tin or cupped.

Don't.

One tin of Nescafe Latte is sufficient to make your hands tremble slightly for hours. Well of course for the price of keeping your ass awake and induce concentration. It helped me think fast and write well but it also made my hands tremble, I could hardly write my words nicely and it just felt like I can't control my hands properly.

Heed my advice, sleep more and reduce coffee intake. If you must, don't take it when you have writing papers or subjective answer sheets. It's going to make you one hell of a time to write.
