PMR ... and thereafter

Disclaimer: I am not paid to advertise.

Support Oxford Fajar SUKSES/SUCESS series! Damn I miss my long hair. :(
And yes I know I look very gay in this picture.

It's 1st of October tomorrow, and it's exactly one week to PMR.
Honestly I'm starting to feel worried why am I not worried about it at all on top of the fact I still remained ignorantly lazy to study because... Need for Speed SHIFT is addictively awesome! ;x

Blah I guess I'll have to ditch my gaming-lusts and pause for two weeks.
I can't abide the fact that luck and common sense will not guarantee me a straight As in PMR even if I were to pray to Allah, Jesus Christ, Vishnu, Buddha or any other non-solidified being (NSB).

It has been decided, although it's harsh and hard, excruciatingly painful decision I have to make, I have decided to once again disappear from the realm of internet, stop all gaming and study... at least for a bit rather than not poking it entirely at all. :(

Plans for PMR;
1. Sleep before 1am!
2. Jiak pah pah only exam. :D

Plans during PMR;
1. *looks around for pretty invigilators* =x
2. prays that it rains for operasi payung as calon tumpangan in other school. =x

Plans after PMR;
1. Go on hardcore gaming mode.
2. Go on hardcore study and research mode.
3. Go on hardcore physical training.
4. Go on hardcore hang-out mode.
5. Go on hardcore movies mode.
6. Go on hardcore [x]-ball mode, where x stands for unknown.
7. Prepare for year-end Group Camp, How Kean are you game for it? :)
8. On the way to Chief Scout!
9. Further my research into linear magnetic acceleration and electromagnetic force.
10. Build a high-velocity gauss rifle. Jay, let's do it. :D

That's all for September, heartiest wishes for all PMR takers out there. As my usual saying...

GOOD LUCK, HAVE FUN, ENJOY!

Till we meet again. :)
Regards, all the bloody fucking best!

3TA3 class drawing

Tuesday, 29 September 2009 at 9/29/2009 09:28:00 pm
By Sim Kai Chong, I'm lazy to edit the people's names into it so I'll just describe them.

Top right, Lee Jia Wei. Jing Yao's favouriteeee. :D
Below that is Winston Low, with his trademark sexy curly hair.
To the left is Marcus Tan Khai Shern, top 1 in class handsome nerd. =x
That small little sexy vampire is See Jin Xian, the girl beside him is err, Wen Xi or something idk. =x
Below vampy is Koay Min Jing, the sexiest round head in class with the best sleeping ability, not to mention ponteng and breakdance as well.
Directly below is Oong Zheng, I failed to understand why his hair so infernally sexily yeng despite he doesn't have much hair in reality. =x
Far right of Oong Zheng is Yeap Jia Jun, with the sexy cylindrical hat. My godbrother and partner-in-everything. =)
Front and foremost is me. Kai Chong claims that the facial structure looks like mine. :O
I've tagged it in Facebook, go poke it yourselves!

OH SHIT, how can I forget our mascots!
Top most left is a frog! FROG k! Who else could that be! Wei Loon heeeeeeeee xD
Beside is a monkey! Who looks the most alike to a monkey? Heng Zhen Jing of course. ;)

Need for Speed SHIFT

at 9/29/2009 07:07:00 pm
Speak graphics. Speak physics. Speak reality. Speak cars.
Need for Speed SHIFT is here for you.

I just got this game on Monday morning, downloaded and tested fully working.
Graphics are intense, realistic and awesome.
NFSS is PhysX powered, so expect true-to-life effects and truly awesome motion blur.

In this series you play as a full-time racer, so all you do is just race to the end of the world tour.
The game's HELL of a long, progressing from Tier 1 to 4, then reaching World Tour and heck you play with rocket powered cars!

This is my current car, which is yet to be converted to a full racing machine. All standard performance upgrades are bought though.

After converting to race machine! :D

Fully maxed out. =)

And this, is the sexiest car in game, looks more like a rocket than a car. -.-

The following two screenshots were taken live from in-game races, showing the finest and highest quality of the game alongside it's game engine. Real-time speed over 220km/h.
Screenshots below are taken on 1920x1080 4xAA, up to 35fps.

Screenshots below are taken on 1920x1080 No AA, up to 60-70fps.

Looks fantastic, doesn't it?

I'm also selling this game in ISO format, which means you have to mount to a emulation driver.
RM5 for two discs, FREE Daemon Tools PRO.
Leave a comment or inform me if you're interested. Off to star-dee woo! PMR next week. =x

Computerssssss

Wednesday, 23 September 2009 at 9/23/2009 12:58:00 am
There was a certain period when I suddenly disappeared from the realm of Internet, frankly speaking my computer was literally fried sending both my motherboard and PSU to hell. I was sort of cheeky myself went to overvoltage my motherboard as to improve my CPU performance but end up frying my own PC. Sent my computer to PCDepot, Mr. Repairman picked out an exploded capasitor, lol mind you, exploded; from inside my CPU casing.

Change from this;

To this;

So I bought a new motherboard, a PSU, an AVR and a HDD casing.

Well I thought, since I have my old motherboard to play with why not explaining some of the basic parts of a standard PCIe16 multi-core motherboard?

My old motherboard which died, encased in an anti-scratch plastic.

Overview.

Main heatsink, the best heat absorbers in the motherboard to absorb and radiate heat fast.

Secondary heatsink, mainly for PCIe (graphic card).

Processor casing.

PCIex16 slot, for graphics card, replacing the extremely old AGPx8 slot.

SATA ports, for HDD and DVD/CD/Blu-ray ROM/RAMs.

SATA Cable.

Lithium rechargeable battery.

Side ports.

Okay I'm getting kinda bored here. Ciaos. =x

Windows 7

Saturday, 5 September 2009 at 9/05/2009 11:40:00 am
2 fattest reasons why you should get Windows 7.
All images are taken under 1920x1080 HD resolution, I freaking hate the resize for Blogger.
P/S: I'm addicted to Energetic. =x

1. The Taskbar

The main attraction of Windows 7.
The taskbar is fully customizable, very user friendly and best part is, you can move everything and pin everything to it: your favourite games, your library, fraps and anything as long as it's an executable path. For example, on my taskbar I pinned my favourite games so that whenever I feel like getting some asses kicked, everything's just one click away and this in turn keeps the desktop free from chaotic icons which provide a better view of your background. You wouldn't want your sexy babe's background to be blocked by the stupid icons right? The main drawback is you might need a large screen to fit in all the tasks and pinned tasks, otherwise you'll be killing your own taskbar.

From the picture above, the Windows 7 has a built-in Windows Media Player 12, which is engineered to work seamlessly perfect and in coordination with the taskbar. Hover your mouse over the media player's task icon on the taskbar, a small preview will pop up showing basic functions of media player. To bring up the media player's window temporarily all you need is to hover your mouse over the preview. There, you'll have a mini screen and a full sized screen.

Not to mention the transparent aero personalization for your desktop, comes in tons of colours and transparency modes! You'll love it. =)

2. DirectX 11

Actually it's not really DirectX 11, it's actually DirectX 10.1 after it's predecessor DirectX 10 for Vista.

Extract from Wikipedia;
Microsoft unveiled Direct3D 11 at the Gamefest 08 event in Seattle, with the major scheduled features including GPGPU support, tessellation support, and improved multi-threading support to assist video game developers in developing games that better utilize multi-core processors. Direct3D 11 will run on Windows Vista, Windows 7, and all future Windows operating systems. Parts of the new API such as multi-threaded resource handling can be supported on Direct3D 9/10/10.1-class hardware. Hardware tessellation and Shader Model 5.0 will require Direct3D 11 supporting hardware. Microsoft has since released the Direct3D 11 Technical Preview. Direct3D 11 is a strict superset of Direct3D 10.1 - all hardware and API features of version 10.1 are retained, and new features are added only when necessary for exposing new functionality. Microsoft have stated that Direct3D 11 is scheduled to be released to manufacturing in July 2009, with the retail release coming in October 2009.

You got to love it, after downloading my Crysis Warhead, I ran it on 1920x1080, no AA, Enthusiast (Very High) graphics and achieved an average of 20fps. (runs on 40fps on Gamer settings). Below are extracts from the game, showing improved effects of water, motion blur, lighting effects, ripples, crisp details, and much more.

Crysis.

That's about it. =)
